We were looking for a portable fan and came across this. Quickly our search changed from portable fan to portable ac for the kitchen area. Our goal was to have something running in kitchen area to not feel too hot due to heat from stove and weather while not running ac for the entire house. Also running ac for the entire house was not much helpful. Therefore we bought this and it works like a charm.
