I was using only the cheap grinder provided, but when I saw a discount on a good grinder, I couldn’t resist. A product that used to cost over 500,000 won domestically about 2 years ago is now available at less than half the price just because GEN2 came out. It’s irresistible not to buy it.
When I opened it as soon as I received it, I saw some dirty marks on the outside corners and two dust pads at the bottom were missing, so I was a bit disappointed.
After cleaning the outside surface, it came off easily, and they sent 4 extra dust pads separately so I replaced them and it looked like new again.
The noise level is incomparably quiet compared to before; now I can switch freely at midnight without worrying about the neighbors.
The grind size is also very uniform.
However, the speed is very slow, but it’s not a big problem as you can switch it while boiling water and rinsing. If the speed is low, it means there’s less heat generation, which I actually like.
Since it’s a EU plug, I thought about either using an adapter or cutting the plug head to replace it, but luckily it fits perfectly into Korean outlets.

The grinder itself is excellent, but the paint finish is poor. There are chips on the corner part and inside the bean hopper entrance, and even on the smooth painted surface, there are small cracks. The interior of the hopper is painted, so debris doesn’t easily fall inside. It’s just a delivery issue, but all four corners were crushed during shipping. I wonder how much trouble it must have been…
Nevertheless, the price is fully compensated. True to its role as a grinder. The adapter is also shipped as a KC certified adapter. Recommended if you don’t mind minor exterior flaws.

I had the habit of consistently doing RDT, so there was no resistance or hassle in using this grinder for RDT.
According to the manual, complete seasoning after 10 clicks.
I poured over hand drip with V60 using 9.5 clicks.
The depth and richness of aroma are well expressed.
I checked and compared reviews on YouTube and various channels before making a cost-effective purchase, and it was an excellent choice.
However, we don’t know about durability yet, so we hope it holds up well until grinding up to 150kg!! !

Didn’t expect to like this grinder as much as i do. It feels really solid and well made, and the grind quality is excellent. It goes very fine, which works great for espresso, and once dialed in the results are consistent and noticeably better.
I messaged the seller before shipping and they were quick to respond and helpful, offering a shipping option that avoided the expensive couriers in my country. That made the whole purchase much easier and cheaper.

It’s quieter than I expected and the grinder’s performance is solid. The white paint color is a bit disappointing in some areas. The delivery was very disappointing. But I recommend it.

When there was one washer under the burr, even if it was close to 0, the desired grind size didn’t come out well, but when I added one of the 5 washers included with the product, I got the desired espresso grind size at about 5. I am very satisfied with the product. There were some black stains on it while in transit, but it’s acceptable… Sell a lot of them. I got a good deal at a great price.

I understand that there is a first generation Baria VS3 and a second generation, but this product is the same as the first generation. I understand that the original Varia model allows you to choose the color and burr type, but there is no such option here on AliExpress. In my case, I paid separately and asked the seller through chat (within AliExpress) to change the color to white, and they sent it in white. I didn’t specifically request the burr, but judging by the color of the burr, is it hypernova? It seems like it came from Burr. I’m not sure. I assume it’s burr color) The 220v European version fits well in Korea, and you can refer to the YouTube video on disassembling the Varia VS3 for burr replacement and cleaning methods. Same. We will also send you a tool that can disassemble the burr, so you can open it with that. This is my first coffee grinder and I really like it. The key points are 1. Before adding the coffee beans, you need to run the grinder and add the coffee beans to ensure the particles come out evenly. If you add the beans first and grind them, the particles of the beans that are ground initially will be coarsely ground. 2. The remaining coffee grounds can be easily removed by inflating the air pump while the grinder is in operation. 3. When disassembling, there are small parts, so be careful not to lose them and disassemble carefully.
