The Ruby Sharpening stone is made from sintered crystals of synthetic ruby.
It’s extremely hard, maintain their shape well and are resistant to wear. Because they are so hard they can sharpen and finish extremely hard metals such as carbide gravers, but also work on non-metal like glass, porcelain and quartz.
For sharpening and polishing chilled steel,alloy steel and precision parts etc.
These Ruby Sharpening stones can sharpening and polishing for triangle sawtooth, circular saw blade, plane blade edge, small serrated mould.
Sharpening stone can use oil or water.

Good smooth surface. Abrasive properties are correctly indicated. The stone is suitable even for full sharpening only if you have plenty of spare time and nothing else to do. Metal debris is well removed by any mineral oil. To avoid accidentally dulling the blade against the edge during sharpening, be sure to remove chamfers. The surface of the stone will remain in its original state for a very long time if you use it with mineral oil or soapy water. Good, successful ceramic.

the stone is not large in size. the hardness is similar to 3000. I haven’t tried to grind yet. I hope it will make the chamfer. I recommend it.
