125v, 1500w. therefore, it is approximately 10.4ω. when used in a 100v circuit, it produces just under 1000w. my measurements showed about 10.6a at 105v, so it’s around 10ω. the calculations are roughly correct, and there is no deception in the product description. the actual measured output is around 1100w. since japanese wall outlet wiring is designed for a 15a capacity, it is a bit concerning to draw 15a for a long period, but 10a should not be much of an issue (the heat generation is less than half). i think this product is well-suited for use in japan.
