Received quickly. The heater is 500 w therefore a bit slow but i didn’t expect better. The only thing that i don’t like so far is that the cord is extremely short and i will have to buy a longer one.

I should point out 2 things, the first is the power cable is a standard kettle cable the second is the heating element is about 4 -5 mm below the outer edge of the case. If the base of your pot is bigger than 11cm it will not be in contact with the heating plate. Which means it won’t be as efficent as a pot which directly sits on the plate. That being said it’s not an induction plate so it will work with any size of pot, glass or metal, ideally your pot needs to have a 11cm base, anything in between 11 – 14 cm is likely to sit at a crooked angle.
One last thing, for uk users, the cooker draws 314w when selecting low and 628w when switching to the high position.
