About this item
1. This adapter converts Type 2 charging station socket to standard European Socket (Schuko).
2. This adapter cannot send “car connected” and “ready to charge” signals to the charging station. If the charging station requires such signals, you may not be able to draw power from the station.
3. Some stations require stop signals to begin unlock procedure. You may need to cut power manually and un-plug the adapter at the same time to avoid being locked by station.
4. CE, certified and compliant.

Got my device this week.
The adapter works as expected.
– one button sends the “connected/disconnected” signal to the charging station.
– the other button can be used to switch the power on and off for the connected device.

Great power adaptor for type two charging mains power

This adapter does not work with public charging stations. I tried a total of 5 different stations – charging does not start. The moment the post tries to lock, it breaks off. This is probably due to the missing locking grooves in the plug. Going back to the issue… the supplier is also not responding to my messages.
